Description

Ngozi has had her life planned by her parents since the day she was born. Sent to Canada as a child to live with her mother's best friend, Ngozi received quality education and greater opportunities in life. But, at the age of 26, her parents have arranged a marriage, and the decision does not go down well. The lives of four Nigerian Canadian friends are woven together as they struggle to find out who they are in a world of broken promises, childlessness and inter-racial relationships. Their faith is tested as they quickly find out that growing up in Canada does not exclude them from being caught in Nigerian social taboos, and religious and cultural differences.
